Tickets sales are booming from the very beginning. One week ago, tickets for the upcoming World Cup biathlon became available and the interest has been high.

“It’s been an amazing start for the ticket sale, the response has been fantastic”, says Chief of the Organizing Committee, Ken Davies. Many of the ticket purchasers for this event so far are the same as those who attended the World Cup in 2016. “Spectators who came to watch the competitions here in 2016 remember the exiting and fun experience and want to relive that”, Davies continues. – “This season, we hope to bring this beautiful LIVE sport to more peoples attention, and we guarantee three entertaining and thrilling event days here at the Canmore Nordic Centre”, Davies promises.

Competition Program

The competition program is one of a kind; it kicks of on Thursday with the “Biathlon Classics”, the Individual competition format. On Saturday, the event continues with the audiences’ favorite, the Relay. Anything can happen in a relay, and that’s why we love it! Last, but not least, athletes will battle it out for the Mass Start on Sunday and we expect high speed and tight results. Nothing will be decided before the last shot has been taken.
