If you’d still like to be part of the action, please come out and cheer on the 240 athletes from 28 countries participating at the Canmore Nordic Centre.
What to do when you arrive:
BEFORE YOU GO TO THE NORDIC CENTRE
Report to Accreditation in Canmore town site to pick up your badge and have your picture taken.
Accreditation will be held at the Coast Hotel , 511 Bow Valley Trail, Canmore, AB T1W 1N7. the hours are as follows:
01.02: Monday 0800 – 2000
02.02: Tuesday 0800 – 1900
03.02: Wednesday 0900 – 1800
04.02: Thursday 0800 – 1500
05.02: Friday 0800 –1500
06.02: Saturday 0800 -1500
07.02: Sunday 0800- 1400
Please make sure that you pick up your badge well before your first start time.
Pick up your jacket ( @ Coast Hotel )
There will be a $100 deposit on the jackets. Please make out a cheque to AEHSB. You may keep the jacket or return it after the event. If you chose to keep it your cheque will be cashed, and if you return it your cheque will be returned. You are required to wear it while you are volunteering at the event.
BEFORE YOUR SHIFT
Report to the Volunteer Desk at the Canmore Nordic Centre Day Lodge
Upon arriving please check in before and after your shift at the Volunteer office located upstairs of the Nordic Centre Day lodge. Make sure you allow adequate time to walk down to your post or meeting spot. ( 5-10 min). If you shift begins before 7 am, please report after your shift.
We will be providing a light lunch of soup and hot drinks will be available.
GETTING TO THE EVENT
We strongly encourage everyone to car pool as there is very limited parking at the venue. There will be a shuttle bus from Downtown Canmore. More information will follow in regards to the times and pick up points.
