Welcome to our World Cup arena at the Canmore Nordic Centre. Get to know the venue better by having a look at our arena map. We recommend arriving early, in order to get the most out of your day in the arena. There will be activities for children, entertainment and a good selection of food and beverages. All arena and on-course tickets are unnumbered, so early birds will be able to choose their favorite positions in the venue.
Entering the arena, you will find yourself in the main street following flag row – which will be turned into a festival street, bustling with food trucks, music, stalls selling official Canmore merchandise, and you also have free access to the Day Lodge. The area is clearly signposted.
Day Lodge
The Day Lodge is open to everyone. It gives you a chance to warm up in front of a fireplace or just rest your feet a bit in between the competitions. The Day Lodge is facilitated with washrooms, lockers and you can also be more acquainted with the Canadian Winter Olympic merits which are on permanent display inside the lodge. Cornerstone Café, located in the Day Lodge, will be open 9am-5pm daily – serving freshly prepared soups, chili’s, hot lunches, baked goods, locally roasted Rave coffee and beer!
The Ticket office is located inside the Day Lodge and is open on competition days from 09.00-17.00. We encourage everyone to purchase tickets beforehand, but we sell tickets on site, with Square payment options or cash. An ATM is also located inside the Day Lodge.
Grandstand
At the grandstand you can enjoy guaranteed viewing overlooking the biathlon stadium and shooting range. You can also watch the athletes on the big screen accompanied with speaker service.
On-course Viewing
There are many good locations along the course, which gives you a good opportunity to watch the athletes really close up.
Rocky Mountain Club Section
If you want to enjoy in style, we strongly recommend to check out our Rocky Mountain Club (RMC) Section area. It gives you guaranteed prime viewing overlooking the biathlon stadium and you will have access to our RMC hospitality tent, with hot and cold food & beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) for your enjoyment. You will also be able to watch the races on the big screen accompanied with speaker service.
Bring your Family
